What are REGO’s?

Renewable Energy Guarantees of Origin (REGO) are used by electricity suppliers to demonstrate the percentage of electricity they source comes from renewable technologies.

How does it work?

REGO certificates are issued for every megawatt hour (MWh) of eligible renewable output to generators of renewable electricity.

They are used to demonstrate to the final customer that a given share of energy was produced from renewable sources.

How do we trade them?

The value of REGO’s has increased in recent months and Action Renewables continues to deliver optimum market value for our clients through our REGO trades.
