Action Renewables 20th Anniversary

On Wednesday 11th October 2023, Action Renewables celebrated 20 years as a registered charity with a Gala lunch at Queens University Belfast.   The Great Hall is a splendid venue with Gold Award Green Tourism venue status, sourcing their food locally and tracking and reducing their carbon emissions.   The event was hosted by BBC Journalist and Environment correspondent, Louise Cullen who introduced the 3 key speakers:  Richard Rodgers, Head of Energy with the Department for the Economy NI, Mark Stockdale, Partner with A&L Goodbody and Terry Waugh, CEO of Action Renewables.

Invited guests were welcomed to the Cloisters area outside the Great Hall for a drinks reception, followed by a 4-course lunch.  It was a great opportunity to meet up with old and new faces, and a lot of networking took place by key players within the Energy sector of Northern Ireland.

The event was sponsored by A&L Goodbody who have been advising and supporting Action Renewables for nearly 20 years.
