Action Renewables Installer Event – Tullyglass Hotel 25th October 2022
The Microgeneration Team at Action Renewables recently held an information morning at the centrally located Tullyglass Hotel for Solar PV Installers. A lot of planning was involved in organising the event as our aim was to provide an overview of the services that Action Renewables offer.
The morning started with refreshments and breakfast, allowing time for guests to network and meet the Microgen Team. Following a tasty hot breakfast we heard from various speakers from within the organisation as well as informative presentations from The Electric Storage Company and NIE Networks.
Jamie Rea from The Electric Storage Company gave an overview of their very successful pilot project – Girona which recently featured on BBC News.
Lisa O’Neil from NIE Networks gave us an overview of G98/NI, G99/NI and G99/NI Fast Track processes.
Lana Moore, Senior Project Manager outlined the services the Microgen Team offer to existing and new clients, the improvements that have been made recently, making it easier for Action Renewables clients to submit readings, and discuss Ofgem amendments. Dawn Murphy, Senior Project Manager provided an overview on the Consultancy services offered such as feasibility studies, grid connection applications, project management and scoping studies from a commercial /business perspective, while William Deane, Head of Projects gave an insight into our flagship charitable Solar PV support programme which has been inundated with applications in recent months. Further speakers included James McKay, Business Development Manager with Action Renewables and Mark Compston, Head of Projects who hosted the event and concluded the morning with a Question and Answers session for the speakers providing a further opportunity for networking and engagement.
The Installer event was a great success and we look forward to hosting other similar events in the future. To find out more about our services, you can follow us on Linkedin, Twitter and Facebook, where updates will be posted, and also check the links below.
