Action Renewables proud sponsors of Energy Institute Northern Ireland Annual Dinner.
01/03/2023
Once again Action Renewables are delighted to be proud sponsors of the Annual Energy Institute Northern Ireland Dinner, which this year is being held in the prestigious Belfast Harbour Commissioners Offices. The dinner represents a key event within the Energy sector in Northern Ireland, and one that brings together representatives from across the industry.
This year is a significant year for Action Renewables as we recognise our 20-year Anniversary within the sector and in particular our contribution to renewables within Northern Ireland. Since our inception in 2003, we have grown our services and now employ 23 people in our Belfast Headquarters. Action Renewables is a Charity first and foremost, and our support in the past few years as seen many Northern Ireland charities partner with us through our Charitable PV Programme, and also supporting renewable projects further afield with Mulanje Mission Hospital in Malawi. As part of our own commitment to reducing our Greenhouse Gas emissions, we have taken the Climate Action pledge to reduce our emissions by 50% before 2030 and have recently installed solar PV to our office building, to reinforce that undertaking.
Northern Ireland has a challenge ahead to achieve 100% electricity generation from renewable sources by 2050, and the experienced team at Action Renewables are well placed to support that transition from fossil fuel usage to renewable electricity production in the commercial, agricultural and domestic sectors.
For now, we eagerly look forward to catching up with new and familiar faces alike at the Annual dinner on Thursday 23rd March. For further information on the Annual Dinner you can visit the Energy Institute website.
