Action Renewables renews sponsorship of Northern Ireland’s Energy Institute Dinner.
05/02/2026
Action Renewables has announced the renewal of its headline sponsorship of the annual Energy Institute Northern Ireland (EINI) Dinner, reinforcing its long-standing commitment to supporting collaboration and innovation across the local energy sector.
The Energy Institute Dinner, widely regarded as one of the most significant dates in the industry calendar, brings together senior leaders, policymakers and professionals from across Northern Ireland and beyond. The event provides a valuable opportunity to share insight, celebrate achievements and discuss the future direction of the energy transition.
By renewing its sponsorship for a further year, Action Renewables is once again demonstrating its dedication to advancing sustainable energy development and encouraging constructive dialogue within the sector.
Speaking about the announcement, Terry Waugh, CEO of Action Renewables, said: “We are thrilled to continue our support for the Energy Institute Dinner, which has become a flagship event for the energy community in Northern Ireland. This event plays an important role in bringing the industry together to reflect on progress, exchange ideas and build the partnerships that are essential to delivering a cleaner, more resilient energy future.”
“As an organisation committed to promoting renewable energy and sustainability, we are proud to sponsor an evening that recognises excellence and encourages collaboration at such a pivotal time for the sector.”
The annual dinner regularly attracts guests from across the energy supply chain including representatives from utilities, renewables, academia, government and the wider business community. It is recognised as a key networking occasion and an important platform for discussing emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities.
Sam McCloskey, Chair of the Energy Institute Northern Ireland Branch, welcomed the continued partnership:
“We are extremely grateful to Action Renewables for their ongoing support. Their renewed sponsorship ensures we can continue to deliver a high-quality event that showcases the strength and ambition of Northern Ireland’s energy industry. The dinner is always a highlight of the year, and we look forward to another successful evening.”
This year’s event carries particular significance as it will feature an all-female line-up of speakers, reflecting the growing leadership role of women across the energy sector, and a celebration to mark International Women’s Week.
The upcoming event will take place on Thursday 12th March, 2026, at the prestigious Hastings Culloden Hotel, and is expected to attract a full house of industry professionals, underlining its status as a must-attend occasion within the Northern Ireland Energy sector.
